Initial Meeting / Consultation
The initial consultation is a perfect time to share your thoughts and vision for your new custom dream home. Be sure to bring any pictures you have collected! We can build to your design, modify one of our existing designs, or start from scratch with our in-house designers or external architects. This is where we discover your wants and needs, tastes and budget.
Stage 2
Property Analysis & Preliminary Design
It’s important to take advantage of your property’s features. We will carefully study your property to ensure we maximise it’s features such as views and orientation to the seasonal changes of the sun. We will then create a preliminary design tailored specifically to your block, style, needs and budget.
Stage 3
Pricing
Once we have the general design of your home sorted out, you will want to know exactly where you stand on the costs of home design, site conditions, specifications, selections and allowances. We will now provide you with a written quote explaining all inclusions, allowances and assumptions. Our policy is to provide a quote showing all genuine costs, not excluding things you will need to consider, so that you avoid any nasty surprises later. Now is the time to finalise changes based on plan revisions or pricing so we can prepare for drafting and permits.
Stage 4
Plan Preparation Agreement
The Plan Preparation Agreement, or PPA, is required to draft working drawings for construction. At this stage we will also contract independent specialists to conduct energy assessments, structural engineering, Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Assessment, and surveying if necessary. At the end of the PPA stage, all the statutory documentation required for building licence approvals will be complete.
Stage 5
Pre-Start Selections
Now for the fun part! You will be introduced to our dedicated interior designer who will work with you to bring all the details and finishes of your home to reality. From benchtops to tapware, paint colours to brick selections, door knobs to light fittings, your choices will be noted and fed into the building contract.
Stage 6
Contract
With all your selections made, and any price adjustments made as a result, we now have your final fixed price calculated. This forms part of the building contract. Once complete, we submit all documentation to your local council for building licence, then we are ready to go!
Stage 7
Construction
Your home is now built by our experienced team of perfectionists.

Handover
Once complete and when you have settled in, remember we are still here if you need us. Stallion Homes has a reputation of standing behind everything we build.
